Ariel is a member of our extended family...  This has made for a pretty rough start to the new year.

"The victim, Ariel Oksendahl, remains in the hospital after someone hit her in a crosswalk and drove away."
Read the article and please help is you can.  There were three people in the crosswalk at the time.  Ariel and one other were hit (minor ankle injury).  Police estimate the speed of the vehicle to have been between 40 and 50  mph.  Someone knows who did this.

Ariel has been in several surgeries since new year's, and faces several more.  She's doing better, but will be undergoing additional care and recuperation for a very long time.  A donation account has been set up at Key Bank -- ask for the "Ariel L Oksendahl Donation Account."
